Bullets Over Broadway

This film chronicles the story of the idealistic young writer David Shayne in 1920s New York City. Finally, producer Julian Marx receives funds for the project from the gangster Nick Valenti. Nick's girlfriend Olive Neal has been cast in the role of a psychiatrist, despite the fact that she is a bimbo who could never pass for a psychiatrist and a terrible actress. David, who neglects his long-term girlfriend Ellen, will be completely seduced by Broadway after he accepts this first compromise. Cheech is Olive's interfering hitman/bodyguard. Warner Purcell, the main man, is a compulsive eater. Helen Sinclair, the grand dame, wants her role spiced up. Ultimately, the playwright must determine if art or life is more essential.
