Broken Lance
A copper smelter is polluting Matt Devereaux's water, so the cattle baron raids it and splits up his land among his sons, then gives each one a share. Son Joe is to blame for the raid and gets three years in prison. Because of his sons' bad behavior, Matt dies from a stroke. When Joe gets out, he plans to get back at the boys.
