Boyfriends and Girlfriends

Parisian suburbs: Blanche (an office worker) and Lea (a student) meet and become friends in the middle-class suburbs. Fabien and Lea are going out, but Lea is considering breaking up with him. Despite her feelings for Lea's attractive and clever Alexandre, Blanche is unable to speak to him. Fabien begins to develop feelings for Blanche, who is still enamored with Alexandre despite Lea's absence. It's a Rohmer morality tale, as usual.
