Keke McQueen, a recent graduate of Harvard University, is eager to leave her hometown of Grand Rapids, Michigan for her dream job in Atlanta. However, when Keke discovers that her once super-smart Grandma Janice is showing early signs of dementia, Keke decides to put her career in jeopardy in order to save her Grandma's block party. In the process of saving the party, Keke falls back in love with her hometown and the people who live there.
