Bill and Ted, two amiable slackers, are once again drawn into a fanciful adventure when De Nomolos, a future villain, sends wicked robot duplicates of the two lads to terminate and replace them. Bill and Ted are genuinely killed by the mechanical counterparts, but the two are adamant about escaping the hereafter, challenging the Grim Reaper to a series of games in order to return to the world of the living.
