Bells Are Ringing

At Susanswerphone, a telephone answering service, where she is employed as an administrative assistant, Ella Peterson is stationed in the business's basement office. She takes on a variety of personas for her customers so that she can not only gain insight into the lives of others but also add some spice to her own monotonous existence. They consist of a Method actor who is currently unemployed, a dentist who has musical aspirations, and in especially a playwright named Jeffrey Moss who is currently suffering from writer's block and is in dire need of a muse.
