Beasts of the Southern Wild

Hushpuppy, a courageous six-year-old girl, resides with her father, Wink, in 'the Bathtub,' a southern Delta village at the end of the world. The severe love of Wink prepares her for the disintegration of the universe, a moment when he will no longer be there to defend her. When Wink catches a mysterious ailment, nature goes haywire: temperatures soar, ice caps melt, and an army of aurochs is released. With the waters rising, the aurochs approaching, and Wink's health deteriorating, Hushpuppy searches for her missing mother.
