When a string of spooky killings emerges across Hong Kong, two trouble-making detectives are assigned to the case to help solve the mystery. A young maverick named Wang and a grizzled vet named Huang who is tired of his reckless younger companion getting them into trouble all the time. After discovering that all of the victims were ex-boyfriends of aspiring actress Liu, the investigators are forced to play a dangerous game in order to get to the bottom of the case and escape. One of them must pose as Liu's lover in order to entice the killer out of hiding.
