Police Detective Barnbrooke thinks the legendary psychopath known as "The Pied Piper" is responsible for the kidnapping and imprisonment of a young cellist named Eve Taylor in a dungeon-like basement. Police Detective Barnbrooke is all too aware that if he can't catch his only suspect this time, Eve would suffer the same fate as the other Pied Piper Victims, despite the fact that he's been trying to stop him for more than fourteen years and that three other girls are missing and assumed dead. Knowing the Pied Piper's identity is one thing, but establishing it quickly is a much deadlier proposition.
