Artie is a scumbag from the trailer park He has no ambition, is the school's favorite punching back, and keeps his virginity hidden. April then leaves the state. She's been his best friend since kindergarten and his life's love. Three years later, Artie has the guts to go see April and tell her how he feels about her. After a vehicle accident, Artie wakes up in the thick of a zombie outbreak. He won't hide this time. Artie's love for April gives him guts to hack, stab, punch, and kick himself in the direction of his beloved April. It's a race against time, because that bite on his palm could be the difference between a French kiss and a brain bite.
