Amira & Sam
As he visits her uncle, Bassam, who was Sam's Iraqi translator, Sam meets Amira. He was a soldier who had been to Afghanistan and Iraq before. Due to their time together in the war, Bassam and Sam have a special friendship. First, Amira doesn't trust him. He is an American soldier who served in the war, and her brother was killed by a bomb that came from American troops. Sam's cousin, Charlie, asks Sam to help him with illegal hedge funds that Sam didn't know about at the time, but Charlie did. Her father died, and now Amira is living with her uncle Bassam. She sells pirated movies on the street corner, but after getting caught, she has to stay with Sam. Immigration officials start to follow her. They fall in love as the movie goes on.
