Airplane!

Ted Striker, a drunken pilot who has developed a dread of flying as a result of the trauma he had during the war, still boards a passenger jet in an effort to win back his lover who works as a flight attendant. After the passengers and crew on the jet are killed by food sickness, it is up to Striker to land the plane with the assistance of a glue-sniffing air traffic controller and Striker's spiteful former Air Force captain, who both have to talk him down.
