A strange Indian tribe kidnaps a pioneer family's eldest daughter, who her eldest son sets out to recover.. While protecting his sister from an arrow fired by an executioner, the man must give his own life in order to liberate his sister from a "Crooked Sky." He enlists the services of a shattered, alcoholic prospector to find the tribe and rescue his sister as he journeys.
