Afterimage
In1945, as Stalin takes control of Poland, renowned painter Wladislaw Strzeminski refuses to compromise his art with social realism's principles. Persecuted and ejected from his University chair, he is eventually obliterated from museum walls. He begins battling the Party with the assistance of some of his students and becomes the icon of creative resistance to intellectual dictatorship.
