the story of retail's Cinderella after the ball, situated in the industry Kate's ultimate goal in life is to work for a couturier establishment. Kate is unable to find work despite her impressive skills and recent graduation from college. Since her father is a retail guru who sells clothes "inspired" by designers Kate wants to work for, no one believes in her. Who needs a spy in the midst of sequins and stilettos? Forcing her way into the family company, Kate finds herself dealing with her devious stepmother and two nefarious sisters. Even so, thanks to some help from her godmother's vintage clothing as well as a surprise identity swap with her shoe department prince, Kate exposes the nefarious triad and saves her father's company.
