A Golden Christmas

A nine-year-old child talks his heart to his best buddy after a great summer together. The boy and girl bury a time capsule of mementos alongside a devoted golden dog and then part ways. Years later, each man and woman returns to the spot where they felt most at ease as children in search of a new beginning. However, a comic case of mistaken identity pits them against one another for the same childhood memories, resulting in Christmas antics. To ensure their happiness, they must unearth their shared history before fully upending one another's life. Is it possible for a golden dog to guide them home?
