A Friend Is a Treasure

Alan is able to acquire a map that will lead him to a military treasure that the Japanese army abandoned on a remote island in the Pacific at the conclusion of World War II. However, several thugs attempt to take the map from him, and so he takes refuge on Charlie's boat as it departs the harbor. He fools Charlie by adjusting the bearings on the ship's compass so that he does not realize they are headed for the treasure island. When they put foot on the island, however, they find that it is not as deserted as they had been led to believe; there are still some natives living there, as well as a Japanese soldier guarding the riches.
