Jon Katz is nearing exhaustion. He is a writer suffering from writer's block; his wife has left him for her sister because he is emotionally distant; and he rarely answers his phone. A neighborhood handyman directs Jon to a woman who may be able to assist him with dog training. Jon reluctantly offers her a shot. Is the dog or the owner the problem?
