49 Up
World in Action, a UK-based Granada production company, launched a series of groundbreaking documentaries called 49 Up 42 years ago. "Give me the child until he is seven and I will give you the man," interviewed a diverse group of seven-year-old children from all over England. Michael Apted, the original film's researcher, has interviewed the "children" every seven years since, at 14, 21, 28, 35, 42, and now 49. There are more stunning revelations and more original group members participating in this current chapter than ever before.
