From the pages of Kazuki Takahashi's manga, Yu-Gi-Oh! : Duel Monsters, comes a television anime adaptation from Nihon Ad Systems and Studio Gallop. In this second anime adaptation of the manga, Toei Animation continues from where the last series left off and adapts the manga from there. Duel Monsters is a card game in which Yugi Mutou, a duelist, competes against a variety of other monsters. The series aired on TV Tokyo from April 2000 to September2004, with 224 episodes in total. 4Kids Entertainment produced an English-language version of the Japanese series Yu-Gi-Oh!, which aired in North America from September 2001 to June 2006 on the Kids' WB network. As a result of the show's popularity, 4Kids commissioned Yu-Gi-Oh!, the animated film. You can also watch Pyramid of Light the movie, and Yu-Gi-Oh! Capsule Monsters the miniseries. All three of these anime series have their own spin-off anime series based on the Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monster GX, 5D's, and Zexal series.
