Wilfred
Wilfred is an Australian comedy TV show that is directed by Tony Rogers, produced by Jenny Livingston, and stars Jason Gann, Adam Zwar, and Cindy Waddingham. It was made by Zwar, Gann, and Rogers. It was based on their award-winning 2002 short film, which was later turned into a series. The story follows the lives of Wilfred the dog, his owner Sarah, and her boyfriend Adam, who thinks Wilfred is a man in a dog suit. Two seasons were shown on SBS One: the first in 2007 and the second in 2010. The show won three AFI Awards and was nominated for a Logie. In 2010, Independent Film Channel bought the rights to air the first two seasons of Wilfred around the world. The U.S. version debuted on the cable channel FX on June 23, 2011.
