Corazón salvaje is a Mexican telenovela created by Salvador Mejía Alejandre in cooperation with Televisa and shown on El Canal de las Estrellas. The first episode of the telenovela aired on October 12, 2009 at 9:00 pm, succeeding the show Sortilegio after it had run for a total of 135 episodes. On April 16, 2010, the last episode of the program was aired, and it was immediately followed by the premiere of Soy tu duea. Again taking the place of Sortilegio, the telenovela made its debut in the United States on Univisión on February 22, 2010, at 9:00 p.m. Eastern Time. However, commencing on April 26th, the program was shifted from its previous time slot of prime time to the time slot of 12:00 midnight.
