Time Team
Time Team is a British television series that first broadcast in 1994 on British Channel 4. Each episode featured a team of specialists carrying out an archaeological excavation over the course of three days, with Robinson explaining the procedure in layman's terms. It was created by television producer Tim Taylor and presented by actor Tony Robinson. This group of experts has fluctuated over the course of the series, but has always featured experienced archaeologists like Mick Aston, Carenza Lewis, Francis Pryor, and Phil Harding. The archaeological sites discovered during the show's run varied from the Palaeolithic to the Second World War. Channel 4 stated in October 2012 that the last series would air in 2013. Series 20 aired from January to March 2013, and a number of specials are scheduled to air in 2014.
