The Way We Were
Exchange student Xiao Qing is studying in the US. She is extremely proud of her father's job as a prosecutor in her native country. Xiao Qing aspires to be as ethical as her father, who is a law-abiding citizen. Xiao Qing goes to school with Shu Che. Shu Che's father is a little less pure than Xiao Qing's father. Shu Che's father, a government official, has been involved in a number of questionable transactions. As a result of these deals, his kid has gained access to a wide range of opportunities. Shu Che, on the other hand, isn't having any of it. After meeting, Shu Che and Xiao Qing fall in love. Their connection is irrevocably altered when their fathers go to court. The two understand that they can never be the same again as they struggle with their responsibility and their love.
