The Storm
The Storm is an American science fiction disaster miniseries that debuted in 2009 and was directed by Bradford May. Based on a prior teleplay by Matthew Chernov and David Rosiak, it was penned by David Abramowitz and Dennis A. Pratt and focuses on an Atmospheric Research Institute-developed weather generation machine that poses a threat to life on Earth when deployed by the military. Dr. Jonathan Kirk, Danni Wilson, and detectives Devon Williams and Stilman are attempting to save the world, but he is being pursued by assassins. On July26,2009, the first segment of the film was broadcast on the NBC network. The second segment aired on August2, 2009.
