The Layover

The Stopover is a traveling and food show on the Travel Channel held by Anthony Bourdain. The program premiered on November 21, 2011 in an episode based upon Singapore. The layout and the web content of the program are based on what a traveler can do, eat, go to and delight in within 24 to 2 days in a city. Each episode starts with the host touchdown at the city, with the clock beginning the countdown till the moment that he will leave the city. As a seasoned vacationer, he meets up with locals and also explores the city in and out, within matters of hours, both the touristy means as well as the regional method. On February 15, 2012, Traveling Network renewed the program for the 2012/2013 season, picking November 19, 2012 for the second period best; included cities for the season include Atlanta, Chicago, Dublin, New Orleans, Paris, Philly, São Paulo, Seattle, Toronto, and Taipei.
