Eric Kaplan and Tony Millionaire are responsible for the creation of the animated television series The Drinky Crow Show, which is based on the comic strip Maakies, which was created by Millionaire. On May 13, 2007, the pilot episode was broadcast as part of the late-night programming block known as Adult Swim on Cartoon Network. The first episode of the series aired on November 23, 2008, and the final one was broadcast on January 25, 2009. A Maakies comic provided the definitive evidence that the show would not continue. The voice of the main character, "Dino," was performed by Dino Stamatopoulos, and the voices of "Uncle Gabby" and "Captain Maak" were provided by David Herman. Becky Thyre, the wife of Millionaire, had a co-starring role in the movie and provided the voice of both the Captain's Daughter and Phoebe Bird. Mademoiselle DeBoursay and the voices of several of the other female characters were given by Pamela Adlon, who also narrated the show. Additional voices were also given by the show's creators, Tony Millionaire and Eric Kaplan. The theme music for the show is performed by They Might Be Giants.
