The Dick Van Dyke Show is an American comedy that originally aired on CBS from 3 October 1961 to 1 June 1966. Dick Van Dyke, Rose Marie, Morey Amsterdam, and Mary Tyler Moore appeared in the show, which was produced by Carl Reiner. It focused on Rob Petrie's professional and personal life as a television comedy writer. Reiner, Bill Persky, and Sam Denoff produced the program. Earle Hagen composed the music for the theme song of the show. The series was awarded fifteen Emmys. In1997, "Coast-to-Coast Big Mouth" and "It May Look Like a Walnut" were voted eighth and fifteenth on TV Guide's list of the 100 Greatest Episodes of All Time. In2002, it was voted 13th on TV Guide's list of the 50 greatest television shows of all time.
