Launching on Nickelodeon on August 31, 2007, and on Nicktoons on September 1, 2007, Tak and the Power of Juju is a fully computer-generated cartoon series. Since 5 July 2008, it has aired on Nicktoons in the United Kingdom. Two eleven-minute tales make up each episode of this half-hour show based on the video game of the same name. It's Nickelodeon's 30th Nicktoons series and their first fully computer-animated one. Nick Jennings served as showrunner and executive producer, and directors Mark Risley, Jim Schumann, and Heiko Drengenberg also contributed to the series. The show failed to attract an audience, was panned by critics, and was ultimately canceled in November 2008, after airing for only 26 episodes.
