Sons of Tucson is a family comedy about three brothers who employ a charming, wayward schemer to stand in for their true father while he is in prison. What starts as a business partnership grows into something more intricate and compelling: a family unlike any we've ever seen. The three brothers meet their hired father, Ron Snuffkin (Tyler Labine), at a sporting goods store. Ron will be forced to rely on a diverse set of skills and a big arsenal of tricks as he assumes the role of patriarch to care for the Gunderson lads. Gary Gunderson, 11, is a brilliant and street-savvy leader who is every bit the con man his father is; and Brandon Gunderson, 13, is a lovely free spirit who simply goes along for the fun. Maggie Morales (Natalie Martinez), Robby's second-grade teacher and Ron's love interest, may be the only consistent character in the lives of this eccentric quartet. While Sons of Tucson is based on the day-to-day struggles of a single-parent household, nothing in the Gunderson household is as it appears. An ongoing chess game between Ron and the boys will keep all parties on their toes, as neither can afford to cede too much control or independence.
