Shaun the Sheep is a British stop-motion animated children's TV show made by Aardman Animations. It was commissioned by the British Broadcasting Corporation and Westdeutscher Rundfunk, a member of the ARD consortium of German public broadcasting institutions. It's a spin-off of the Wallace and Gromit series, and Shaun from A Close Shave is the main character. In March 2007, it was first shown on CBBC in the UK. Timmy Time, a show for younger viewers, is based on the series. The show has been shown in 180 different countries.
