In 1952, Eva Perón passed away. Her body was kept in storage for three years while a mausoleum was being erected, but it was never finished. Because they were concerned that the people would turn against them, the military took over Argentina in 1955 and withdrew Perón's remains from view. But they had no idea that she would become more deadly in death than she had been in life.
