In the Norwegian novel "The Island," a group of twelve persons of the same gender are shipwrecked on an uninhabited island in the Pacific and have no idea how long they are supposed to remain there. They are totally isolated from the rest of civilization, and there is just one other person there. They are not accompanied by any members of a film team while they are on the island; instead, they are filming everything by themselves. This is not Robinson's property at all. It's not Farmen. I checked. On the island, the only way to survive is to work together closely with one another, as there are no rules, competitions, or voting systems.
