Out There
The adventures of socially shy Chad, his younger brother Jay, and his best friend Chris as they grow up. The brothers spend their last few years of adolescence in the little village of Holford, wandering its bizarre, desolate environment. Viewers meet Chad's traditional parents, Wayne and Rose, as well as Chris's single mother, Joanie, and her catastrophic lover, Terry, along the road. They also meet Sharla, Chad's love interest. The series explores the dangers of adolescence, such as puberty, first loves, and social ostracism, while also delving into the scary limbo between childhood and adulthood, when delicate young personalities emerge and re-form.
