2008's My Own Worst Enemy aired on NBC. 9 episodes aired between October 13 and December 15. Universal Studios produced the show. Jason Smilovic and David Semel were executive producers. The final episode ended with a cliffhanger and unresolved plot lines. The serial followed secret spy Edward Albright and his cover, Henry Spivey, who had no idea. Christian Slater's Albright had a chip implanted that allowed his handlers to adapt his personality suit his cover. In the premiere episode, a glitch enabled Albright's personas to swap at random, revealing his secret life. Henry was pushed into Edward's risky existence, with no way to interact besides cell phone video messaging. GM sponsored the show, and the new Chevrolet Traverse and 2010 Chevrolet Camaro appeared as characters' cars.
