Moesha
Moesha was an American sitcom series that ran on the UPN network from January 23, 1996 all the way through May 14, 2001. It debuted on that network on January 23, 1996. Moesha Mitchell, a high school girl who lives with her family in the Leimert Park district of South Central Los Angeles and is played by R&B singer Brandy Norwood, is the protagonist of this television series. It was first commissioned as a pilot for the television season that ran on the CBS network in 1995-1996, but the network did not accept it. After that, it was bought up by UPN, and they showed it as a substitute for the first half of the season. It went on to become the most successful show for the young network, and it was also one of the most popular shows over the entirety of the network's existence.
