The "Abyss" is the final uncharted zone; it is a massive cave network that is fraught with danger and is home to a wide variety of bizarre creatures and antique artifacts. Cave Raiders are so-called because only the most courageous explorers are able to penetrate its depths and return unscathed. A little girl by the name of Riko discovers a robot that has the appearance of a boy when they are both deep within the Abyss. Riko and her new acquaintance venture into unexplored region in an effort to solve the mysteries of the Abyss; however, they are unaware of what dangers lie in wait for them in the unknown depths.
