Living Single aired on Fox from August 22, 1993, through January 1, 1998. Six friends share personal and professional experiences in a Brooklyn brownstone. Living Single was among the top five African-American sitcoms of its day in all five seasons. Sister Lee and Warner Bros. Television produced the series. In the 1990s, African American and Latino audiences flocked to Fox's Thursday night line-up of Martin, Living Single, and New York Undercover. These were the three highest-rated black series in 1996–1997.
