Little Bear

The Canadian educational children's television series Maurice Sendak's Little Bear is based on the Else Holmelund Minarik and Maurice Sendak-illustrated Little Bear book series. Originally created by Nelvana for Nickelodeon, it is now broadcast on Treehouse TV in Canada and Nick Jr. in the United States. In the late 1990s, it was aired for the first time in the United Kingdom on Children's BBC as part of the Toy Box BBC video collection. In addition to airing on Nick Jr. UK, it now airs on Tiny Pop. After the conclusion of the series, a direct-to-video/DVD feature-length film was also produced.
