I Dream of Jeannie is a popular American sitcom with a fantasy theme that airs on ABC. Larry Hagman played an astronaut who becomes Barbara Eden's master and subsequently her husband, a 2,000-year-old genie. With new episodes airing from September 1965 to May 1970 and season repeats airing from September 1965 to September 1970 on NBC, the show was produced by Screen Gems. The show aired for five seasons, totaling 139 episodes throughout its lifetime. For the first season, there were a total of 30 episodes, all of which were shot in monochrome.
