Ryan King, a recent widower and sports talk radio personality, is eager to return to work following the death of his wife. Stephen, Ryan's alpha-male boss, has a different plan for him, requiring him to attend bereavement therapy before returning on the air. Ryan finds himself in a "life transition" support group, where he encounters an eclectic ensemble of characters, each with their own backstory filled with varied degrees of sorrow.
