Family Law is a television drama featuring Kathleen Quinlan as divorced lawyer Lynn Holt, who tried to create her own law office after her husband left her and their law firm, taking all of their clients with him. Paul Haggis created the show, which ran on CBS from 1999 until 2002. The sitcom also stars Christopher McDonald as opportunistic, ambulance-chasing attorney Rex Weller, Julie Warner as Lynn's friend Danni, and Dixie Carter as "pit bull" divorce attorney Randi King. Tony Danza, Cristián de la Fuente, Salli Richardson, and little person actor Meredith Eaton as Emily Resnick, an ambitious attorney wanting to make partner, were later cast additions. The opening title tune for the series was Edwin Starr's 1970 hit song "War."
