Elfen Lied
The Diclonius is a mutated homo sapien that is said to be chosen by God and will eventually destroy humanity. It has two horns on its head and a "sixth sense" that gives it telekinetic abilities. Due to this dangerous power, the government has taken them and put them in labs to study them. Lucy, a young, psychotic Diclonius, manages to break out of her chains and kill most of the guards in the lab before getting shot in the head as she tries to escape. She stays alive and drifts to a beach, where two teenagers named Kouta and Yuka find her. Having lost her memories, she was given the name "Nyuu," which is the only word she can now say, and the two let her stay at Kouta's house. However, it looks like the bad "Lucy" is not dead yet...
