Dream On is an American adult-themed situation comedy about Martin Tupper, a divorced New York City book editor played by Brian Benben, and his family, romantic life, and profession. To emphasize Tupper's feelings or thoughts, the show inserted excerpts from earlier black and white television series. Marta Kauffman and David Crane, the team behind the television show Friends, created it. It aired on HBO for six seasons between 1990 and 1996.
