Charlie's Angels

Charlie's Angels aired on ABC from September 1976 to June 1981 and had 110 episodes. Ivan Goff and Ben Roberts conceived and produced the show. Kate Jackson, Farrah Fawcett-Majors, and Jaclyn Smith played three female detectives in Los Angeles. David Doyle played their sidekick, and John Forsythe voiced their employer. Cheryl Ladd, Shelley Hack, and Tanya Roberts joined the cast later. Despite conflicting reviews and a reputation as "Jiggle TV," the show was a top ten smash for its first few seasons. Because to bad cast changes and changing tastes, the show ended after five years in 1981. Syndication, DVD releases, and cinematic remakes have kept the series popular.
