Boo!
Boo! is a children's television series that first aired on BBC Two and is now seen on CBeebies. It contains a cast of cartoon characters who engage in a game of hide and seek in a variety of locales. An adult narrator and a choir of children provide the commentary. The sitcom was created by Tell-Tale Productions, the same company that created Tweenies. Reruns of the show were broadcast on Qubo in the United States from 2011 to 2012. The series was nominated for a BAFTA in 2002-03 after running for 104 episodes and one Christmas special. A song is frequently sung at the end of the show about matching characters or objects to their shapes or colors. Boo! has a distinct visual style that employs 3D CGI with rounded curves and cel-shading. The music and lyrics are mainly in the early 1970s funk/R&B style.
