Bob is a popular situation comedy that originally aired on CBS in the United States of America from September18, 1992 through December27, 1993. It was the third sitcom starring vehicle for Bob Newhart, and it turned out to be a lot less popular than The Bob Newhart Show and Newhart, both of which were his prior excursions with the network. Bill Steinkellner, Cheri Steinkellner, and Phief Sutton were the members of the creative writing team that was responsible for the show. Paramount Television was the studio that oversaw production of the series. On April3,2012, all 33 episodes were made available on DVD for purchase.
