The plot follows Eren Yeager and Mikasa Ackerman as they enter Titan Jr. High, a school where humans and Titans cohabit. Eren despises Titans because of a "traumatic" incident in middle school in which the Colossal Titan ate his lunch, and is continuously attempting to find a way to rid the world of them. As a result, he has a difficult time making friends, much to Mikasa's chagrin.
