After hearing an old story about the Winged Maiden from his mother when he was young, Yukito Kunisaki is on a journey to find her. As Yukito tries to make money by putting on a puppet show for people, he ends up in a small town where he didn't plan to stay for long. But when he meets a strange girl named Misuzu, things change dramatically when she invites him to stay with her. Yukito makes friends with the people in the small town quickly after he moves there. As he gets to know them better, he finds out about their problems. He decides to help, so he stops looking for the Winged Maiden. Will Yukito ever find the Winged Maiden, now that he has put his search on hold and grown more attached to Misuzu and the small town? Or is she closer than he thought? [Wrote by MAL Rewrite]
