You Lucky Dog
When Lisa Rayborn (Natasha Henstridge) learns of the death of her mother, she returns to her childhood home and works on the family farm once more. Her brother Jim (Harry Hamlin) has turned the family property from a cattle operation to a sheep operation, over their father's (Lawrence Dane) misgivings. Lisa decides to stay and assist out on the farm as a way of helping out. A border collie that she adopted from an animal shelter and trained as a sheepdog is named Lucky by her. They decide to enroll Lucky in the sheep herding event, but a heavy rainstorm causes a forest fire, and Lucky rescues trapped children and brings them to safety. This causes Lucky to acquire a burn on her calf, preventing her from competing.
